Program Guidelines

IMA's  guidelines for the program Choreographers /Directors/Coordinators 

If you have any questions or concerns about any of the listed items, please consult with the event organizers immediately.


Submission Guidelines

  • Choreographers must submit the finalized track by December 22nd, 2023. Late submissions may not be considered.
  • Choreographers are encouraged to introduce their teams using their own creative and innovative methods.

Event Tickets

  • All choreographers and participants must take the event admission tickets. No exceptions

Rehearsal Schedule

  • A detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided to all choreographers. Attendance at rehearsals is mandatory.

Costume Guidelines

  • Choreographers must submit the finalized track by December 22nd, 2023. Late submissions may not be considered.

Stage Logistics

  • Provide information on any props, set pieces, or special requirements for your choreography well in advance. 
  • Coordinate with the program coordinator for seamless transitions.
  • The Choreographers and participants are responsible for all the props and materials
  • used by their respective teams, including proper disposal after the performance.

Green Rooms

  • Access to the Green Room will be restricted to participants, the Choreographer, and the coordinator only.
  • Teams may enter the room 20 minutes before their scheduled program.
  • The specific time slots will be communicated closer to the event day.

Communication

  • Please maintain an open communication with the organizing team and address the conflicts or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions.
  • Be punctual, prepared, and respectful in communication with choreographers, performers, and event organizers.

Time Limits

  • Performance must adhere to the specified time limits.
  • Choreographers are responsible for ensuring that their routines fit within the allocated time.

Diversity and inclusion 

  • Please avoid contents that may be offensive or culturally  insensitive or offensive. 
  • Seek approval for any potentially controversial elements.

Safety Measures

  • Prioritize the safety of performers. 
  • Refrain from choreography that poses unnecessary safety risks.
  • Report any safety concerns to the program coordinator immediately.

Stage Logistics

  • Be open to constructive feedback. 
  • Choreographers may be asked to revise to enhance the overall quality of the performance.

Code of Conduct

  • Regular attendance at all meetings is mandatory. 
  • Notify the program coordinator in advance if unable to attend.
  • Adhere to the event's code of conduct. 
  • Respect the rights and feelings of fellow participants.
  •  Any violation may result in disqualification from the event.
